I can say with confidence that it will definitely last for 6 years or more if your target is at high, 1080p, and 60fps. The RTX 3060 Ti can play most AAA games on ultra, 1080p, and still get > 140fps. If you will be staying with 1080p, and only aiming for 60fps, I'd say it's a damn good card.Mar 9, 2022

If you're one of the unlucky folks who can't get a GPU, or has an older PC and can't afford an upgrade, there is hope if you're desperate to game.
On 28 Feb I ordered and paid MSRP for a 3060 Ti from the only store in Australia that was taking pre-orders. It shipped yesterday!
I kept watching retail prices climb and thinking the store would cancel my order and refund my money. About a month ago they contacted me and offered a more basic model 3060 Ti for 31% more money because they had it in stock, and I said "no thanks, I'll stay in queue".
I turned down a RTX 3090 for MSRP
As much as I hyped myself up throughout the year, I lost it when I saw that I could finally hit that “buy” button from EVGAs cart. I initially signed up for the auto-notify for their whole RTX 3080 and 3090 line up and fast forward six month i finally got the email notification.

I won the new egg shuffle today. I won a asus rog strik 3060 12G ddr6. I currently have a 2070 in my build, we put together a welfare build for my wife recently. She has a 1050 ti. From what I read, the 2070 out performs the 3060. So I was thinking of giving her the card.
Wife Vacuumed Out PC, Help!
I recently swapped in a new Ryzen 9. I also removed the GPU during this process as it blocked access to the harness for the cooler. Upon booting up I got no input to the display.

Recently I posted about wanting to give up building my first PC because of all the shortages and scalpers, but then a miracle fell onto me. My dad's friend came the other day to hang out and he has connections to someone working at Canada Computers and I got the chance to buy the parts for my first PC (including a GPU at MSRP).
