I'm having serious problems and I can't seem to get the cooler on. The cpu also stuck to the cooler and didn't stay in place for some reason during the whole process

Actually I think the motherboard is faulty the arm to lock the cpu into place isn't working properly. I'll just be asking for a full refund at the moment. Thanks anyway

If CPU is moving, that can be serious problem as that would mean retention arm either isn't working or isn't locked properly. Which could lead to CPU being damaged. I would recommend you take it off and check pins, put it back and make sure retention arm is locked in place.
