Pan and zoom feature came out yesterday for the Bolt v2 maps display
Updates came out yesterday. Both my Android app and Bolt v2 updated. Something about a map pan and zoom pan feature being added, but the support pages haven't been updated as of this date and time. Edit: Support pages have been updated.
Can you pause the roam overnight and continue the next day?
I’m doing an overnight bikepacking trip and instead of recording 2 rides I’d like to do the whole loop. I will not be using turn by turn or following a route on the device. My question is - can I pause the recording, ideally power down overnight, and then pick up with the recording the next day?
Freehub not fixed to the hub
so i just assembled my Wahoo Kickr and noticed that the freehubbody is wobbling on the hub/frame. Is this a manufacturing mistake or did I do something wrong? It*s not the casette on the hub, its the whole hub.
Design and specifications
With version two of the Bolt, Wahoo has retained the aerodynamic leading edge, which it is still keen on pointing out as a unique selling point. No data is available as to how much faster it actually is - if even at all - but nonetheless, it creates a strong aesthetic appeal that's hard to dislike.

The main purpose of any GPS cycling computer is to track your GPS location to give you an accurate review of where you went and the speeds at which you travelled, so let's look at that first.
Verdict
The Wahoo Elemnt Bolt isn't without its quirks; the minor GPS drift (if not coincidental) and the clunky on-device routing are both things that will fade into a non-issue during ordinary use, and the main uses for the device are so fantastically seamless.

The Wahoo Elemnt Bolt retails for £249.99 / $279.99 / €279,99 / AU$429.95. Being a Wahoo product, it's very unlikely to ever be discounted. The only exception is that there is generally one great Black Friday Wahoo deal each year, although given how new the Elemnt Bolt is, it's unlikely you'll find it in anyone's Black Friday cycling deals.
