Is lobob optimum by lobob worth it?
I absolutely love all the Lobob contact solutions. They are the best! This was a decent price for the wetting solution however Amazon is charging terribly greedy prices on all their other products. Extreme greed! Price has shot up immensely in recent months. Have been unable to find Optimum by Lobob in any retail locations.
Is lobob going out of business?
No, Lobob is not going out of business. We hope to continue to provide solutions to our valued customers in the future. How will I know when Lobob will be back in stock? Please sign up on our website to join as a member of Lobob.
What are the pros and cons of the lobob solutions?
I tend to have dry eyes (so no LASIK for me, unfortunately) and the Lobob solutions give me longer wearing time with less dryness. I also have allergies, which can make my eyes particularly sensitive at some times of the year, and the Lobob solutions allow me to wear my lenses when other solutions did not. I think they get the lenses cleaner.
What is lobob optimum extra strength cleaner used for?
When used as directed, Optimum by Lobob® ‘Extra Strength Cleaner eliminates surface deposits, oils, lipids, salts, and cosmetic residue without the use of parameter changing abrasives. Contains NO polymeric solvents and rinses easily from the lens surfaces.

What can I use instead of optimum by Lobob?
With the continued shortage of Optimum by Lobob ESC, we had been recommending BostonSight patients instead use Miraflow Extra Strength Daily Cleaner available at www.miraflow.com.
Why was Miraflow discontinued?
The solutions needed to maintain the integrity of today's contact lenses have changed significantly. One of the big losses in contact solutions was the discontinuation of Miraflow. Fortunately, we have been able to reformulate the original product with the help of our manufacturing company in the USA.
How do you clean gas permeable contact lenses?
Gas permeable or hard lenses can be cleaned with a hydrogen peroxide based solution such as Clear Care® or with disinfection solutions for gas permeable lenses. 4. If using Clear Care®, place a lens in the palm of your hand, apply 2 to 4 drops of Clear Care® solution and rub.

As distributors of contact lens solutions, we are unable to fully advise you about anything but solutions. Please consult with your contact lens fitting professional.
Do you provide enzymatic cleaner?
No, because we believe that they are not needed unless the front surface of your lens is compromised by scratching, etc. If they are scratched, it is best to replace them or consult with your eye-care professional.
Can I use Optimum CDS on my Hydra-PEG coated lenses?

Are your solutions safe to use?
es, our solutions are safe and FDA-approved. However, you must follow directions carefully.
Why do you put red tip and red cap on your packaging?
This is to warn consumers that the product should not be put directly in the eye. Solutions must be completely rinsed off from the lenses before insertion. Eye irritation can otherwise result.
I am allergic to sodium bisulfite, can I still use your solutions?
If you are allergic to sodium bisulfite, do not use the Optimum by Lobob® W/RW (Wetting/Rewetting) drop as it contains sodium bisulfite.
