Lawn Testing: mastering

I have ran the most accurate lawn testing available on the market : my lovely daughter laying and dreaming in a soft welcoming immaculate green lawn.

LPT: Change your edger blades every season

This is is what one season of edging does to a blade. I usually edge once every other mow.

No roll ... lots of love!

In the six years ive been in my current house I have never mowed the lawn twice before May. Lawn came up BEAUTIFULLY after the March heat we have...so happy!! OutsidePride Showtime Mix w/ only a sprinkle of spring fert so far.

why did no one ever tell me that mowing the lawn is fuckin awesome

for real man my dad was always the one mowing the lawn growing up and the one time that he let me do it myself i thought it sucked. But now that I have a home of my own with a little bit of lawn, its my favorite chore.

Presenting my diy compost spreader

Compost spreader made for 10 dollars of hardware cloth from walmart, the rest was scrap material I had around. It's made to tow behind the lawn tractor, 36 inches wide. I've changed the eyelet for a better design since these pics. The door has a magnet latch. https://imgur.com/gallery/bUgJK4x

Why do they taunt me?

I feed them, provide water for them, protect them from disease and insects. All I ask in return is for them to allow me to trim them all to a uniform height once a week. After I finished mowing these evening and was admiring my hard work I heard a distant laughing and that's when I spotted these two.

Domination Line

I’m a perfectionist but also have young kids with a finite amount of time. No matter what I do and how good things look, I’m never happy. It can always be better. I know my lawn will never be perfect since I have about 1.5 acres and no irrigation.

Liked the way the lawn looked today

Well the recent rain makes the Poa T less noticeable, feeling pretty good about it: https://imgur.com/gallery/okkXngk

Just completed a sprinkler audit - shocker - my guess was way off

Found out I was massively incorrect on how much water I was putting down. EDIT: its a 30k sqft yard. I think that matters since i dont have a lot of super overlapping coverage on the heads.
