in a stable low humidity environment, i would think 10-20 years no problem. i load with primers that are already about 5 years old with zero problems.
Do gun primers expire?
When you’re talking decades before primers go bad and maybe a decade or two between the lead and mecury primers going bad it becomes a mott point. Properly stored ammo made for WWI is still good as is WWII ammo. None of use will be around when todays primers go bad.
Can you use 10 year old primer?
