Nio operates in a fast-growing Chinese EV market
In the first half of 2021, global EV sales grew roughly 160% over the comparable period in 2020. More importantly, China alone accounted for around 42% of the 2.6 million EVs sold globally in the first half of this year. The number of EVs sold in China in just the first half of 2021 is equal to that sold in the country in all of 2020.
