
What is the PineBook Pro used for?
The Pinebook Pro is meant to deliver solid day-to-day Linux or *BSD experience and to be a compelling alternative to mid-ranged Chromebooks that people convert into Linux laptops.
When will the PineBook Pro or the pinetab be available?
Due to the ongoing severe component shortages, estimating availability of devices such as the Pinebook Pro or the PineTab is difficult. Estimated availability dates are only approximations. The one exception to this rule is the PinePhone, which we expect to be available all-year-round.

PinePower PSUs) will drift in-and-out of availability on a regular basis, as we will only sell stock that has only been delivered to our warehouse.
What's new in the pinetime version?
This new version adds a new whitelist feature that is very useful when you have multiple PineTimes laying on your desk. It also implements all new functionalities from InfiniTime like the filesystem and weather APIs. Even if those APIs are not usable by the end-users yet, their integrations in companion apps make the lives of the developers easier.

When can I get a Pinebook pro?
Pinebook Pro, the hotly-anticipated $199 Linux laptop from Pine64, is now available to order. The ARM-based 14-inch notebook has been available for members of the Pine64 messaging board to buy over the past few weeks. But, as of August 25, 2020, the company is widening allocation to “public” pre-orders too.
Where does Pine64 ship from?
In January 2020, Pine Microsystems Inc. was dissolved while Pine Store Limited was incorporated on December 5, 2019 in Hong Kong. As of late 2020, the standard form contract of pine64.com binds all orders to the laws of Malaysia, while the products are shipped from warehouses in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China.
How does pine64 make money?
By relying on donations and sponsorships to make revenue and keep the light on, most projects maintain a low barrier to entry for new and prospectus users. Anyone with a computer and an internet connection can readily use just about any Linux or *BSD operating system, as well as any open software these OS' run.
Is PinePhone made in China?
Like the Pinebook Pro, the PinePhone is assembled and built in China but can be shipped from China to (almost) any country in the world.
