He’s never ever been there. I tried to explain everything to him and gave him a list with aisle/bin numbers. He’s extremely competent at everything I’ve ever seen him do, but I haven’t heard from him for hours.
Another Kitchen Delivery Disaster- No delivery and no new date
I placed an order for a full kitchen (153 items) in-store (Orlando, FL) on 7/10 and coordinated with the Kitchen Planner rep for a delivery on 8/13 (tomorrow). I've not seen any sort of updates on the order since then and now less than 24 hours from the delivery it became clear I needed to start calling.

Hey y’all. There’s so many people expecting IKEA to deliver like Amazon would (on time, quick, and fully). IKEA is def NOT Amazon. They don’t have delivery companies and rely on 3rd party to deliver. Having ordered stuff during covid I’ve found that delivery took a month longer than what I was expecting.

EDIT - it turned out the Customer Service phone call described below was a ridiculous anomaly since 100% of my kitchen order was received on the scheduled day, despite what I was told over the phone. Unfortunately, you can't edit a title so I could correct that.
