The cheapest and best way to get tickets is to reserve in advance on Eventbrite. I strongly suggest that you pick a special ticketed event to attend, which will come with grounds admission included in your ticket.
Breakfast, Parking, and Getting There
The food options at the Stock Show are, in my opinion, a bit expensive and wanting, so I try to eat breakfast in Denver before I head over. Luckily, in 2020, there was a great option to park and take a free shuttle from downtown Denver in the River North Arts District.
The Great Wander
Make a mental note of when your scheduled event is, and give yourself about 30 minutes to find the venue (usually either the Coliseum or the Event Center) and your seats. Aside from that, the day is yours – start wandering!
Where to Eat
As mentioned earlier, the Stock Show isn’t exactly a foodie event (again, think State Fair) but it’s still worth grabbing a bite for lunch while you’re there. I don’t have a particular favorite, but I’ve had the best luck with the food trucks between the Expo Center and the Coliseum.
Bonus Stop: The Grizzly Rose
If, after a long day at the Stock Show, you still have some energy, make your way to the Grizzly Rose. It’s about 2 miles away, so you’ll probably want to grab a rideshare or pick up your car first (they have free parking).

The Kick-Off Parade that was scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 6 was canceled due to weather, according to Paul Andrews, NWSS CEO and president.
