The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo is back. After a scaled-down event in 2021 due to COVID-19, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo locals are accustomed to is returning this month with a full slate of concerts, the PRCA Rodeo, a carnival, livestock events, fair foodie favorites and more.
Get Ready to Rodeo
Before the official San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo begins, locals are invited to participate in Western Heritage Weekend, scheduled Feb. 5 downtown. Find a spot along Houston Street starting at 9 a.m. to enjoy the annual Western Heritage Parade, sign up for a 5K run/walk or head to Market Square for the Vaquero Cook-Off.
When to Go
The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo runs Feb. 10 through Feb. 26, but not all attractions are open all of the time. You’ll find carnival rides, shopping and more during the day while the PRCA Rodeo and concerts are scheduled most evenings (as well as on weekend afternoons).
Entertainment Lineup
Along with the stock show, carnival and fairgrounds activities, a PRCA Rodeo is scheduled each night inside the AT&T Center. After you’ve watched the bull riding, mutton bustin’, barrel racing and other events, stick around for a musical performance. Tickets are required and advanced purchase is recommended.
Bring a Card
While cash is accepted by food and shopping booths on the fairgrounds, the AT&T Center is cashless, so you’ll need a credit card to purchase food, drinks and other items during the rodeo.
Parking
Parking is available on the AT&T Center grounds in Lot 1 for $25 and in Lots 6 and 7 for $15. Visitors also can park in Lot 10 on Gembler Road for $10 and ride the Express Shuttle to the fairgrounds. Lot 10 parking and shuttle tickets can be reserved here.
How much are wristbands for carnival rides?
Unlimited ride wristbands allow you to ride all day for one price. Rides and games range from $2 – $10 each. Most rides $3 – $4 each. Wristbands are non-refundable and non-transferable. Carnival wristbands do not include the thrill ride Power. For your safety, each carnival ride has height restrictions.

Grounds Passes
Grounds passes include admission to NRG Park, but do NOT allow entrance into NRG Stadium for the rodeo and concert performance. There are grounds passes for single-day and the rodeo season.
SENSORY FRIENDLY DAY
Friday, March 4, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Rodeo will host a Sensory Friendly Experience on Friday, March 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in select areas of the carnival to promote an accommodating and positive experience for all Rodeo guests with sensory sensitivities or challenges.
Family Wednesday
Free Family Wednesday NRG Park Admission for seniors, 60 and over, and children, 12 and under until noon. (does not include rodeo/concert admission)

These discounted books are not sold at the carnival but individual ride tickets can be purchased on the NRG Park grounds throughout the carnival.

What time do the big shows in the main theater usually start? If we have the late dining, will we miss out on the shows? Do they just have 1 show a night or do they do an early and late show? Going on Dream in May, would they already have the list of shows or do you have to wait until you get onboard?

I think it varies slightly, but 8:15pm and 10pm on my last cruise. I just checked the fun times for the Dream in March. Two shows most nights.
