Very chill environment

The staff are usually laid back and are understanding of any requests in flexibility. Management is fairly well, especially for Stock Associates since they can be placed on call.

Rude managers and lots of drama

While working here I had a lot of problems with a certain manager who was always picking on me. The company was trying so hard to get sells online which cannot be done because people want to shop in person. If you didn't sell anything that day they would cut your hours which is horrible since the pay is bad compare to what you have to do.

Fun workplace

The environment can be fun at times but it gets stressful when you have to complete your task and complete your goals as well. Over all it a good job to start

Stock room

day to day stock. Sometimes have to be in the front working as a cashier. Co-workers and the manager was nice. It can get very busy at times but it was overall good.

decent

the pay was good but they hire literally so many people that you don't get many hours at all unless someone needs you to cover their shift. Somewhat of an uncomfortable work environment because it feels very "clique" esque

East environment, friendly people

I had an overall good experience working at Hollister. They were accommodating to my anxieties around the general public that happens in sales and they were also sensitive to the sensitivity of my lower back after standing for a long time, while lifting heavy boxes, which I appreciated.

Meh, okay for a high school job

Management is the worst, favoritism is huge and stock associates in particular are taken advantage of. Hours are really flexible which was the only good thing about it, most associates are high schoolers so there’s a bunch of petty drama and gossip

Well Not Really the beat

Its fine, but isnt really the beat placw to work. People look down at you and you feel as if there is no possibility of advancing careers. It feels stressful most of the time

Enjoyable workplace

I’ve worked at hollister for 6 months and I have really enjoyed it. The managers are really nice and friendly, and the five minute briefing before the start of your shift is especially useful to go over today’s aims and goals. The pay is average but you do get a good staff discount.

Toxic environment

I worked at Hollister during my university. The management were awful, rude and unhelpful. I was not happy working there, unless you were friends with management or had the “hollister” look they gave you a very hard time. Wouldn’t recommend.

Not bad

Fairly casual with no formal training on the job. Very haphazard shift patterns and can be very busy. OK place to work but really would prefer somewhere with more regular hours.

No hours

I dont actually know who the shift coordinator is however they only seem to give shifts to the same people each day and neglect half of their workforce, didn't get any work for 2 months! This surely isnt legal

decent work

the work there isn't too stressful but when it gets busy it can be. Be prepared for questions from all customers even if that isn't part of your job role. Lots of girls work there, not many boys and the management only are nice to girls the like the look of.
