Personally, I wouldn't purchase it. From what I've heard, there's a lot of issues with the laser sensor itself and numerous other factors that contribute to its poor performance.

I own the 2012 model that I still use to the day on my work PC. I love it and the day it dies I will upgrade to the new model. it is nice for wireless when I need it and nice to be able to wire it when I want to game.
