Is it okay to use the stock CPU cooler?
It's fine you're not overclocking. The stock cooler is fine for stock speeds. People who have convinced themselves that you basically always need a aftermarket cooler if you're going to use the CPU are drinking some flavor of kool-aid. Aftermarket heatsink makers thank you for being so crazy over temps.

Changing out the stock cooler is a straight forward process if you've never done it before. The only thing you may have to do — as I did — is remove the motherboard from the PC case to get access to the rear.
