- Once the tank is again dry, find the coating mix you had purchased in the store. Liberally brush on the sealer to the inside of the tank. Use the roller and other tools as needed to coat the entire inside of the tank. Repeat with a second coat after the first has dried.
Step 3 – Assemble The Water Tank
- After the sealer has dried, it is time to reassemble the water tank assembly. Place the tank back on its struts, and anchor any attachments back into place on the water tank. Reinstall any electric hook up. Refill the water tank, and drain. Refill a second time and let the animals enjoy the newly refurbished tank.
