mount a 6 jaw chuck on your lathe that has the neccessary bed length, remove two of the six jaws (opposing ie.1 & 4, jaw) this will enable you to hold a square very quickly and accuratley, then you may turn it round. Of course you will have to center drill the end to mount at the tailstock end.
