Does rooting a Galaxy S4 wipe data?
Rooting does not wipe any data from the device but we’ll still advise you to back up your apps, contacts, messages, call logs, etc. Do not forget to turn on USB Debugging on your Verizon Galaxy S4 SCH-I545 by going to Settings> More> Developer Options.
