Could a fiberglass repair kit work? I know little about the properties of fiberglass, but do know that the adhesive/bonding agent used seems to stick to a lot of things. Another possibility might be Bondo...
need help with 100 gal rubbermaid stock tank problem
Hope somebody here has had the same problem. My 100 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank is 8 years old and I have never had a problem with it. This year I have a slow drip around where the plug is. It's not the plug leaking it's the o-ring on the outside of the tank that seats the fixture on the inside.

Perhaps the kit came with a rubber ring and a plastic ring??? I could not find a good pictorial for an example, so what i state is subject to correction. My guess is that IF you have a rubber washer, the rubber washer ("o-ring") goes inside the tank - yes? Then the plastic washer goes on the outside.
