how to install a bipod on a ruger 10/22 wood stock

A couple of my 10/22's came with that type of setup. Take a screwdriver (flat or phillips) put it through the loop and GENTLY un-screw it counter-clockwise. Un-screw a little, then screw back in a bit (NOT tight), then un-screw some more.
