Going back to D1, every time the game changed a system, structure, weapons, armor etc.... a new currency was added as part of that change.
Bungie there have to be over 1000 items within the Bright Engram now, why is it not Knockout when the vast majority of them aren't for sale for Bright Dust or Silver
Continually getting purple sparrows from Year 1 that I already have is not an enjoyable experience. At the very least increase the odds if getting something you don't have past whatever it is currently set to.

Tip for Soloing Harbinger: Arbalest One-Shots all shields in the mission
This weapon allows you to cover all shields without swapping weapons, as well as be decent for ranged damage. I highly recommend it, especially if you have slower load times and cannot swap mid-encounter.
