mom passed away recently, nobody in my family has ate in the last 6 months. I desperately need help with meals
as the title says, mom passed away 6 months ago and my dad, brother, and sister eat literally one meal a day maybe oatmeal, maybe takeout. whatever, point is this isn’t healthy, they don’t know how to cook. I work a job in food so i am able to eat at work and occasionally bring them home food when i’m able too, but like it’s not enough.
Food is getting expensive. I was raised on depression-Era cooking. Please share recipes that waste not and want not
Like the title says, I'm looking for things to cook for my family that use as much as possible with precious little waste. I was taught by my grandparents that food is precious, and we should do our best to make it last and make the best of it no matter how little we have.
What tip did you never think of, that seemed so obvious and really helpful after someone taught you?
