 · I thought the same thing until we had an LS1 twin Turbo Vette pop the #3 piston at the end of the third dyno pull. I was scanning with HPTuners, No KR and AFR in the mid elevens. It made 570+ rwhp. If one piston is just a little weaker than the next, that's all it takes. It's not like they are supposed to hold up to 650-700 crank horsepower.

If i remember correctly they are pretty strong. I think the better question is how much hp are you trying to get? It could hold depending on what your goals are. If you want you can always ask chase on how to NOT blow a motor up
