I believe the TH400 flexplate will work, but the bolts to the converter will change to metric. ARP makes some good ones. 3. Any ratcher shifter for an OD tranny should work, but check the application guide. I know B&M sells a few, and Lokar too.

It should handle lots of power. From what I read, the 4L80 is designed off the TH400 which can handle over 1000hp when built correctly. So, if GM did anything right with the 4L80, it should be strong enough to take whatever you want to throw at it.

450 HP or so reliably, more for a short period of time. Biggest weakness is the apply area of the 3rd gear clutches.
