B20 turbo should run fine at 280-300 whp depending on the condition of the motor, turbo parts, and the tune. The sleeves are thinner by a SMALL amount on the b20.
Can you beat the balls out of a B20 motor?
You can beat the balls out of any motor and eventually it will break, idc if its sleeved or whatever, any motor has a limit and abusing them does nothing but shorten the life span. The good thing about b20's is, you blow it up you can get another one for 500 shipped from Tiger.
Why are my B20's so weak?
B20s are VERY weak inbetween the sleeves and thats the issue and its proven by me personally looking right at them last night. The thickness from the inside of any 2 sleeves where they sit next to each other is thinner than the rest of the sleeve and does not have a wall completly around it.

b21a1 boosted will eat up you piston rings crazy fast the b20a engine is very different from a b20b its better to have a hp goal and see what needs to be done to achieve it safely then to see what limit you can push, generally stock can handle 50% over its original hp.

basically, your answer is "search"...I honestly haven't looked into turbo upgrades, but seriously try a search for the two things: "stock internals" and then "turbo upgrade (s)" using the google bar at the top right, and you will find all kinds of stuff and all kinds of threads about people's setups.

IBTL?? irs'ed?? you have both lost me. Mine wasn't done too well, so I traded it for a 96 eclipse after about a year and a half. I liked my shaved ride with the remote door poppers tho. I am going to update my "old rides" page one of these days....anyway, I guess we are off topic.

Boost is irrelavent unless you know what turbo your running,and the tune will also determine what the break point will be.

i see, but there has to be a certian limit ofboost the motor can handle tho and im jut wondering what it is, caz i want to upgrade my turbo and injectors and turn the boost up and geta tune, and im jsut wondering how high the boost can go for it to still be reliable

did u have any probs at 18psi?, where are some links to turbos that bolt to the stock mani, i kinda want a garrett, what model bolts up and supports around 300whp?

Holset HY35....good power,quick spool,bolts to the stock mani with small mods,will get you to 300whp,and is cheap. Get a good tune...run that sucker at 15psi with some 550cc injectors and a z32 mafs and voila your the man.
