4. Ship SPD rather than LTL
Although it’s a little more expensive, we’ve found that small parcel delivery (SPD) shipments get onto Amazon’s dock much faster than less than truckload (LTL) freight. We’ve even seen Amazon turn away LTL shipments when a Fulfillment Center gets backed up, which can result in the carrier charging storage fees.

Restock limits set limits for how much inventory of different categories sellers can have at Amazon FBA warehouses. The 4 main categories are: standard size storage, oversize storage, apparel storage, and footwear storage. If you sell flammable or aerosol products, you will see separate storage limits for these categories too.

Anecdotal observations & thoughts
While I believe the intentions of restock limits are legitimate, the rollout has been frustrating for many sellers. Restock limits were announced on the same day they went into effect. This didn’t allow sellers any time to plan or adapt if their current strategy did not align well with restock limits.
Storage limits criteria
Individual selling accounts have a set storage limit of 10 cubic feet, and this value does not change. Individual selling accounts are not subject to storage limit increases.
Storage types
Storage limits are applicable for six storage types: standard-size, oversize, apparel, footwear, flammable, and aerosol. To see which storage types your products are categorized as and how much cubic feet or meter they occupy, go to FBA inventory age and the Inventory Age report.
Exceeding your FBA storage limit
Under the FBA inventory storage limits policy, you will not be able to create a new shipment to Amazon for a storage type until your inventory level drops below your limit for that storage type.

So i created a listing probably 18 months ago under my brand name for a product only my business sells. However i have noticed the brand name on the detail page has been changed to something completely different. Luckily nothing else has changed.. yet. And I'm still the only seller of the product.
