If you're not comfortable with voltage tweaking, I'd say leave the card the way it is right now. It's not like you'll be able to get more than about 10-15% more frames from a 960 2GB.

Nice , but that's fairly normal for a 960 . A friend of mine got his well past 1600mhz ( though it was a good chip )
