What is offset on a wheel?

Stock Wheel Weight

Anyone ever weigh a stock rim before. Curious what they weigh thinking of getting some light rims if there is enough weight to be saved. Non S 18"

According to this EBay listing, they are 27". So yes, you'd probably save a ton of weight if you got 18lb 18's, etc.

Yeah I emailed someone on eBay selling them they said 25-30 was just hoping someone had a definite answer. I'm looking at a set that weigh 18.2

When I took my 18's with Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires off the car, they weighed 58 or 59 lbs if I remember correctly. My new aftermarket 20" rims with 245/40 tires were 61 lbs.

Thanks that helps tire rack says the tires are 28lbs. That again falls into the 25-30 I've heard so far.I like your number I hope they're 30lbs. I'm thinking the light wheels will be a good investment. I saw a test done on a gti with multiple different wheel set ups.
