Keep in mind Op you did not buy an extended return period. You purchased an extended protection plan with accidental damage coverage. You made the comment about needing a new device so I don’t want you to go to the store thinking the store can swap it out for you. They have to follow proper steps and have it sent off

Today I purchased headphones from bestbuy.com today at 9am that I needed for work. I have been so busy with work I would not be able to get to the store. I saw that had same day shipping for FREE! I thought great, I can get them tonight for work tomorrow. Guess what? It showed up at 10am (1 HOUR!) I have never gotten anything that quick in my life.
